Marketing Manager (Maternity leave cover)

Role overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to cover the role of Marketing Manager during maternity leave. This position is perfect for someone passionate about B2B marketing, content creation, and strategic brand building. You will manage various marketing activities, from social media and email marketing to paid ads and public relations. Experience in B2B marketing is a plus, but most importantly, we are seeking someone eager to learn and can adapt to the technical nature of our product (with full training provided).

Key responsibilities:

  • Content creation: Develop engaging content for social media, blogs, newsletters, and marketing materials.
  • Social media management: Manage and grow our presence on platforms like LinkedIn and TikTok, ensuring alignment with our brand.
  • Email marketing: Lead email campaigns, from strategy to execution, focusing on nurturing leads and engaging our existing customer base.
  • Website optimization: Optimize the website for SEO, user experience, and lead generation.
  • Pitch decks & presentations: Assist in creating sales presentations and pitch decks to support our business development efforts.
  • Paid advertising: Manage and optimize paid ad campaigns to increase brand visibility and lead acquisition.
  • Public relations: Oversee PR initiatives, including writing press releases and maintaining media relationships.

Ideal candidate

  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in B2B (eCommerce or logistics experience is a bonus).
  • A strong communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Creativity and attention to detail in content creation.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to a highly technical product offering (training will be provided).
  • Experience with tools such as WordPress for website management and Pipedrive for CRM is a plus.
  • Knowledge of paid advertising platforms like Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.
  • Basic understanding of website optimization and SEO.
